It is capable of handling four video input and four video output lines, each of which may be VHS or SVHS. It can also handle four audio inputs/outputs with left and right channels. The buttons allow you to control configuration. This switcher is capable of crossover switching, in which any of the input lines may be sent to any of the output lines. Line 1 in, for example, may be sent to Line 1 out or Lines 1 and 4 out, while Line 4 in may be sent to Lines 2 and 3 out, Line 1 out, or any other combination.
