Triangle Research Collaborative, Inc. draws from over 20 years of experience in the field of observational research to provide multimedia control and analysis solutions to many of the leading companies and institutions in the world. Our solutions are flexible enough to meet the needs of clients in a wide variety of disciplines and industries. From eye tracking and keyboard capture technology to basic research in zoology and biology, TRC solutions generate accurate data and in-depth analysis in almost any observational context.

OCS Software

Observational Coding System (OCS) software is TRC's flagship software, which supports timestamping codes automatically as they are entered, analyzing sets of data, and preparing a wide variety of reports. OCS software products enable VCR control for both analog and digital video along with video editing capabilities.

Video Editing System

Video Editing System (VES ) allows the user to edit tapes manually or automatically. These edits can be based either on codes or specific times on the tape.

OCS Hardware

TRC offers our unique PC-VideoCommander Card, an integral part of any observation or editing lab. This multimedia device controls up to two VCRs and two cameras and reads or generates VITC timecode. The Audio Box, a customized audio control solution, supports up to three inputs and two outputs with a separate speaker output. OCS also supports IEEE 1394/Firewire interfaces.

Supplemental Research Technologies

OCS Tools configurations include technologies that enable synchronized data collection from a variety of alternative input systems via a standard RS-232 connection. Supplemental technologies include eye tracking, keyboard capture and flight control configurations.

Remote Control Systems

The remote control systems offered by TRC combine hardware and software to allow the user to control hardware directly from a desktop. These systems include OCS-DV-1394, VCR Remote and Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) for cameras and camcorders.

Audio-Video Devices

TRC provides any audio-video equipment you need, including but not limited to cameras, VCRs, computers and microphones.

Video Labs
