OCS-Digital Video Playback

Observational Coding System-Digital Video Playback (OCS-DV-P) includes the following features for video playback:
  • Bidirectional variable speed playback, including single frame advance or rewind, to ease synchronized coding during playback.
  • Enables playback of codes, timestamps and descriptions in a dataset, in standalone mode or while synchronized with on-screen playback of video file.
  • Improves accuracy of coding and analysis, reducing "look-away" errors by capturing and displaying live video on the same screen as data display windows.
  • Enables filters that can can precisely specify event codes, times and descriptions (use to focus on a small part of a large dataset).
  • Review and edit a dataset during or after coding sessions.
  • Support for AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and DVD file formats.
  • Transfer digital video files to your computer so that you can code events on your video from any workstation or notebook computer.
  • Add OCS-Digital Video Record to code and record simultaneously.
